#11 the importance of accreditation

The Sarasvati Institute of Ayurveda & Yoga Therapy is an established school. Our programs are registered through professional accrediting bodies. Our Foundations of Ayurveda & Ayurvedic Yoga program is a Yoga Alliance 300-hour registered RYT program. Combine this with our Yoga Alliance 200-hour program to become a Yoga Alliance 500-hour Registered Yoga teacher (500-hour RYT).

Our 800-hour program is recognized and approved through NAMA, National Ayurvedic Medical Association, as well as the International Association of Yoga Therapy (IAYT).

Whether or not you are interested in professional certification, which we do offer, what you know by attending an accredited school is that the curriculum has been approved by the leading industry organizations that are respected and recognized in the workplace and profession.
